I wear the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star High Top Sneakers with jeans, dresses, or shorts. They are my “go to” pair of shoes for most every outfit that I have. The 5-inch high top and super comfortable fit, as well as variety of colors, makes me want a pair in every color.
Fit
Be sure that you carefully look at the size chart as they there are sizes for both men and women. Men’s are slightly wider than women’s shoes, which makes them fit me great, but if you have small feet, you will want to take this into consideration. I would order about a 0.5 size smaller than you normally wear, but if you are a woman, you have to take the men’s sizes into account, too. For example, I wear a 9 in women’s sizes, but in these, I ordered a 6.5 in the men’s size and they fit perfectly.
The comfort level is amazing as well. I am on my feet all day and when we have a jeans day and I wear my Converse, my feet do not hurt and are perfectly comfortable. This cannot be said for my other pair of more expensive tennis shoes, which is great.
Wear
These shoes last and last. I bought a pair last winter for my daughter and she has worn them several times a week every week and they are still in pretty good shape. You can’t find shoes that hold up that well anymore. No matter what the weather, cold or hot, they are comfortable, and they breathe much more than normal tennis shoes, which I love, because it keeps the shoes from developing that horrid odor quite as quickly.
Style
The variety of colors is amazing. I love that I can get a black pair for my son and a pink pair for my daughter, with any other color in between. No matter what color my daughter loves this week, I can find it in the Converse All Stars. They are not that expensive, either, which makes it ideal for us to buy her a new pair when she wants to add a little extra style to her wardrobe.
